SEE YOU ON THE 3RD NOVEMBER SIMIONYATOD
The tie of the Group awaits. It’s a clash for the ages, however we’re slowly taming the Group of ‘death’ with convincing performances and wins.
We have fond memories at the Metropolitano Stadium, our number 6. No Pressue lads.
We’re unbeaten in every competition so far. With a near fully fit squad I think we can all sense a quiet confidence about our form, slowly but surely racking the goals up and finishing the chances we’re creating after what seemed a semi-frustrating start to the season in an attacking sense. We’re on the brink of getting our blistering guile back whilst maintaining a stalwart defensive line. Matip is finally stitching a decent run together, making VVD’s job even easier. Virg is ridiculous, he makes defending look insanely easy but at the same time he’s also thinking what he’s going to make for dinner that evening. Mane has simply come to life again which is great to see, Firmino is bagging them left right and on the line, then there’s Salah…
Salah just proved once again how incredible he is with the football at his feet, the scintillating combination of speed, skill and balance makes him nothing short of an artist. Like an artist he brings beauty and illumination to some, confusion and frustration to others, mainly that are left for dead. Pablo Picasso once said ‘We all know that art is not truth, art is a lie that makes us realise truth”. In this case Salah’s brushstrokes make us realise he’s the best fucking player on the planet. Scoring in 9/10 games he’s played in so far. Keep it up Egyptian King.
A perfect start means we have given ourselves a realistic chance of qualifying with 4 games left. But Klopp knows this is the perfect time to accelerate so pressure is definitely on, win against the toughest opponent we have in Group B and put a stake in the ground for all to watch. We relish in Europe and once again I’m throwing out a massive thank you to our beloved Ali for that incredible moment in time, leapt like a salmon and landed in the CL. Fucking Hero.
