Wolves vs Liverpool – 19 in a row ?

With another superb and convincing performance midweek we have a difficult away prospect. On first glance you might think Wolves should really be 3 points even playing away, but they’re currently sitting in 6th position above Leicester Spurs and United. Winning 6, drawing 3 and losing 5. Not so shabby in my eyes. The new Manager Bruno Lage is still trying to knit things together, his first job in England after winning the Primeira Liga with Benfica, an impressive achievement for a young manager (45).

In the same breath though we are playing some really impressive football, Salah mentioned in his interview how the team are really settled now after 5 years playing together, which breeds trust and as I pointed out in my last blurb that everyone seems to now really be on the same wavelength, dummying balls left right and center. However the games are coming thick and fast now as we start to penetrate the xmas period. There may be a few changes come Saturday to keep the squad healthy, we may see Konate come in, a start for Ox and possibly Tsmimmy, however I wouldn’t mess with Robbo right now he’s giving the flying scotsman a run for it’s money.

Last game we were at Molineux Diogo of all people grabbed us the 1-0 win in a tight fixture, with Firmino out he has been relishing valuable match minutes, with an impressive 8 PL goals to boot. Currently on a goal / 121 mins, he’s proving a vital contributor to the first 11 and to the record breaking 18x +2 goals on the bounce. Quality football player and you wouldn’t have guessed he was naturally right footed with how well he took his goal vs Everton. Klopp said he had everything a LIverpool forward needs and no one can argue with that, he’s returned the phrase ‘FAB 4’ to the fanbase with conviction.

A productive November saw us win 5 and lose 1. A great sign of things to come for the in-form reds. Chelsea, Liverpool then City is how it lines up for another battle at the top on Saturday. We only focus on getting 3 points but as you can see all 3 are away games which are against very decent opponents. Hoping Moyes has enough gumption to not fall over to get his belly tickled and Viera keeps up with Watford’s impressive fighting spirit to at least give those plastic teams a sweat.

Let’s keep up the fight and carry on Pumping.
