Well, the spurs game is still taking a lot of the discussion up as we try to move forward with what was a shambles of a referees performance. One that should see him take some gardening leave at the very least. Annoyingly we now sit 3 points behind City who seem unstoppable. But because it’s us, it’s definitely possible.
Without being disrespectful to the Carabao cup, its main purpose now for bigger clubs is to test out the future and fringe of their football clubs. We should expect to see more of the same with this clash as well.
We head over to the King Power stadium just 6 days later in an important PL clash. So it one way it will be a good warm up game for our coaching staff and players to partake in.

There’s also rumours flying around Naldini will be sold in January making way for some regular football. Not sure how I feel about that. Selfishly I’d keep him because I gotta feeling we just may need him. Whatever happens there’s a chance this could be his last game for the reds… Hold on ”’ blows nose” .. Yeh, so there is that.
I hope we win and go through tomorrow, would be nice for the lads to have a chance of some silverware to kick off the final run-in. More important things at play sure, but for our fringe and future, they will bring the fire !!
