Yet another important weekend with our rivals playing eachother this really does make this game a must win.
A game for the neutrals last time and only coming away with a point means we have unfinished business on Sunday. Thomas Frank has received deserved plaudits from various managers including Klopp for creating a well drilled team that play football and play for eachother. Respect is earned in this league and he deserves it.
This means a fight is on the cards, nothing short of 100% will gives us the edge and the best chance of coming away with 3 points. Hopefully all the off field distractions we’re facing as fans right now doesn’t effect the players ability to do their job.
As we step into mid – Jan we have fixtures coming at us left right and on the nose.
Of course we miss the boys at Afcon but we have enough quality in the ranks to deliver this weekend. Sometimes a nice break from it all can do wonders though and when they’re back it could give the squad that extra glue we seem to need right now to tighten everything up and be fired up for what could be a glorious 2nd half of the season.
This Salah saga also needs to come to an end soon, people are getting pre-occupied. Should have been sorted ages ago. Now starting to think about if it doesn’t get done how it would affect everything else, Klopp may even have enough, could drive a gap between the club and the players and even coaching staff. The pull this will have bothered positive and negative could end determining the short term and ripple into the long term future of our club. However I honestly think they wouldn’t be so daft as to let it ride. It will get done it just bloody has to!
