The FA Cup win came at a perfect time for us to now launch a serious campaign challenge, nice to blow off some cobwebs and come away with a place in the 5th round. A slow start to the gam but a glorious finish settled us all in for busy February.
Last time out away at the King Power resulted in our last Loss so certainly some unfinished business awaits at Anfield on Thursday. Whatever happens with other teams we really do have to go on a decent run up until the big one in April.

We welcome back a focused Salah. He seems like he just wants to jump back on the bike after falling off and it’s the right move. I would absolutely reward his stamina and persistence with a start on Thursday. Diaz on left and Jota in the middle. What a front three that is. First time we’ve been in all 4 comps since 82/83 season, we need to hit the ground running and these 3 can certainly help that to happen.
We are going to find ourselves in an interesting situation when Sadio comes back and is ready to go again. We’ve never really had a front 5 that is so good each one could arguably start. But it’s absolutely necessary in this day and age to compete at the very highest level. I still hope we can keep this 5 together for as long as possible, the potential glory we could find ourselves in knowing we have at least 2 incredibley talented players that can come on and change a game if things aren’t going our way is a fantastic feeling.
Also even more fantastic, I’m pretty sure we have zero injuries ! When the hell did that happen last.
Hoping we see a start for this fella, he’s going to be a problem for the PL.
