A potentially historic week ahead for our boys starting with the rescheduled boxing day game at Home to Leeds United. We find ourselves in pretty decent position in the league all of a sudden after a crazy win for the spuds. Cheers lads! didn’t mind that one bit 🙂
150 not out !!! Our Egyptian King manages to cement his place in Liverpool History once again by having the 2nd quickest time to make 150 goals.
We did our job well at Anfield vs Norwich thanks to some of the most majestic assists I’ve seen all season. Ali now has an assist or a goal in the past 3 seasons. Pure class. But for the result at City to mean anything we need to take another 3 points from a decent team on Wednesday, we absolutely cannot afford to think about Sunday for the lineup, it definitely needs to be one of our strongest lineups possible. This applies to all remaining PL games this season as long as we have a shot and it shouldn’t be a big ask because the strength we possess now is more than enough to allow this to happen. Some saying it’s in our hands, but its more in City’s hands actually, what we need is goals goals goals, only 2 behind them on GD but gotta be ruthless now ! Pedal to the metal!
There’s alot of respect building for Bielsa, they were unlucky not to take anything away from the united game last weekend, they played their hearts out and they’re certainly a bigger threat than Norwich, they’ll certainly get chances. Sitting 15th in the league only 5 points above the relegation battle means they have everything to play for whilst the pressure is mainly on us so we have to show up it will be a proper battle.
Not sure who will turn up in the starting 11 but can’t see our new Kop fav missing out on this one, he’ll be brimming full of confidence after his incredibly well taken first ever goal for the reds. What a beautiful day.
