TAP THE FIRST AND LAST LETTER TO CONFIRM EACH WORD
Nobody predicted what we witnessed at the fields of anfield road on the weekend. A glorious concoction of playing without fear, clinical finishing, abundance of dedication to the cause and world class football. It was also a fitting number for the tragic story of 9 year old Olivia. RIP and you’ll YNWA.
The goal that stood out to me was Fabio’s, the 3 players involved ticked every box. Movement, vision, touch and finishing, the ball didn’t hit the ground until the back of the net. Also the speed and intelligence in the way he repositioned himself to be able to volley it in was pure class. He’s a brilliant addition that can organically grow with world class players around him. Alongside Elliot they can both flourish and it’s great to see them getting the freedom and minutes to learn their trade, an important part of the short and long term fabric.
Fabio accepting TOTY year award for last seasons superb campaign for Fulham yesterday.. and today is his 20th trip around the sun. Big season ahead 💪

The lads made themselves and everyone proud with that score line and we are all now hoping the energy levels continue to be maintained. It felt like we’ve only just started clicking again after a woeful start with so much promise at the beginning of the season. Past is past and we now look to what is predicated to be an extremely competitive game against the Toon mid-week, they lost a 3-1 lead against shitty last weekend and looked odds on to win that game but couldn’t finish the job. They’ve showed they can mix it up so we have to get over this result ASAP even though it deserves an elongated analysis and look to start as we finished, with a hunger to score and an eagerness to press. Overloading any team will cause mistakes and we showed that with abundance vs Bmth. I think we’ll start with caution though and feel our way into it. Whatever this 9-0 score line meant we probably won’t know for a few more games yet.
With the transfer window fast approaching this is our last chance before January to strengthen, without even a Chinese whisper emanating from the club I can’t see any business being done so it’ll be a Brucey bonus if many of us are proved wrong. One thing is for sure, Klopp certainly understands the need to a midfield back up.. a name has always popped up throughout the summer for me is Ruben Neves, he’s only on 60k and has 2 years remaining, as a fit and functioning CM that can rifle a ball , whether to forwards or the back of the net, I’d be more than happy seeing him in a red shirt if you didn’t see his thunderbolt vs Newcastle on the weekend take a look. He’s only 25 and fits in with the transfer strategy of bringing in quality that is primed to jump to the last and best stage in their careers and he’s PL proven. Meh, we’ll see.. I guess we always have Trent ✌️

Whatever happens we need to focus on grabbing an extremely important 3 points. A base we can then propel from, seeing the ways in which the so called top 6 are playing at the moment makes predicting this league an impossibility, goals are not in short supply and everyone has come out with a bang. Let’s make it count Redmen !!!
This ones for the delightful couple that is.. Mr & Mrs NEV , keep up putting posh and becks to shame 🙂 x
