Well, not long now until our lads return from their travels and so far look to be all in one piece, maybe Darwin is the only one with a slight concern as he was taking off at half time. We’ll see how that develops but heard nothing so far.
So a trip to Wolves for the early kick off on Saturday awaits our boys, followed by our first group stage game against LASK on Thursday so I think Klopp will have an eye on that, can’t see why he wouldn’t wanna go all in on the first 3 games to win the qualify and then focus on the Prem. Quite a Jinxy statement but we’re huge favs to win the group, the other teams are Toulouse and Union Saint Gilloise (Belgian League) .. check out their team reaction when announced they’ll be playing us .. isn’t this bloody brilliant?!
The LFC ladies have now taken over Melwood this last week and setup shop, will be great for them moving forward and should help to attract the best ! I don’t pretend to keep up with our better halves but hope they make the most if it. Here’s an inside Anfield special of their first training session.
Here’s a look at the fixtures this weekend.. We’re on same points as arse spuds and spammers.. which could all drop points.. just have to do our job first off, if we do we can relax. We need to start as we left off with a solid and convincing display against a decent Villa team, keep the same intensity and momentum into this weekend. We may get a glimpse of our new boat, a Mr Ryan Gravenberch , our new 21 year old CM who came on the last day of the Window. Another piece to what’s becoming a totally new and exciting midfield. Hoping this will be another lad that after a good ol’ Klopping becomes an absolute beast for us, the next Yaya or Viera ? pfff.. we’ll see 😉
I forget if we’re normally good or really shit after an International break but I have a feeling it’s the latter. But whatever, we’re as good as our last game and that was a touch, plus we finally got over that BS Salah saga so riddance to what could have been an absolute shambles of a week. Starting fresh with a tight fit(ish) squad for an exciting run to Christmas without any distractions. I think we’re up for it…
