Liverpool vs Brentford – Anfield under new management !

Last time we were here we witnessed the passing of the baton, a loud cry from Klopp to Slot bounding around Anfield, welcoming him into our home.

So obviously we know where we stand in terms of Squad depth, we’ve been here many times and they never learn so we’ve just gotta accept it and save the told-you-so’s until later on in the season. There’s also truth to Slot saying he needs some to assess the squad, so the next 4 months will give him that time and you never know January could become Slot’s summer transfer window. Nowadays though January has never been a window of significance for any club. As long as Slot’s managerial injury record keeps pace we might be okay.

Weekend’s fixtures:

Getting 6/6 will be important coming into the little trip to old toilet a week later, absolutely no game will be taken for granted in the Prem and as competitive as this season will be every win is massive.

Brentford are no pushover, with Mbeumo and Wissa firing already they’ll be doing some damage this season, alongside Toney of course. Boys at the back should be up for this, they’re all top finishers.

Not sure what Arne’s plans are for the mid but he’s definitely keen on utilising him 6 through 8, he’s been playing well so far in this system and seems to be enjoying the link up play with Mac. Gravy has just turned 22 in May so there’s a longevity in his legs and has a moldable brain. Who knows he might become the strong, intelligent and quick thunderbastard our Mid is crying out for within the next few years.

We’re yet to see Darwin play so far, looking forward to seeing what Slot as in store for our Uruguayan maniac. Jota was pulled off mid way through the second half for Gakkers, I think we’re going to see a lot of that in our front end this season making sure they’re all sharing the ‘load’. Be nice to see Darwin start scoring though, even though confidence doesn’t effect him to have an inform Nunez will scare the shit outa any defence. Reminds me of peak vardy.

So onto the next chapter in the incredible Anfield storybook, we’ll have another glimpse of things to come this season under our new manager. Hoping to see a stronger start to the game and come away with 3 points. Predicting a very modest approach to his first Anfield outing in a competitive game, going quietly about his business making sure the only focus is on the game, performance and result. Enter the No-Nonsense ONE.

LETS HAVE IT REDMEN!!!!
