Nothing to be excited about the next few weeks while most of the players embark on another absolutely critical 10 days with their national teams playing all sorts of career defining games like the nation’s league and friendlies.
The only thing that’s important is coming back in one piece. I heard a rumour that Mac has an adductor issue but that’s it. If true I just hope he’s whisked back home.
One silver lining that makes it more bearable is the fact we have successfully achieved a 100% win record thus far. A perfect start under Slot. Oh and I’m absolutely millering the fantasy league.. #humble.
Superb starts to the season for all of the players but Szobs and Gravy have so far upped their games drastically under Slot, seems like he has pinned their roles down to a more dynamic and effective style, they both seem more at ease off the ball playing with clarity and enjoyment. Can only get better after just 3 games aswell..
September sees us Starr our CL campaign sandwiched Forest and Bournemouth at Anfield. 15/15 could be on the cards while shitty play the arse on the 22nd.
A rest for a few of the players awaits though and they will need it. We face 7 games in 21 days on our return.
