One thing I want to see is some signs of progress in the contract situation, giving a spotlight on Salah Virg and Trents situations by dragging it out helps absolutely nobody.
But great to see Quansah sign a new long term contract, he will be a beast for us this season. He’s been here since he was 5!

Reflecting on a really solid start to the season we’ve come out on top so far. Certainly a lot to work on and tweak but Slot really has got the best out of the squad he was left with. Everyone has upped their game and they’re looking like a well oiled machine. Slot’s reserved and considered approach to games has given the players some breathing room to hone their skillset and provide a sense of calm even when in full throttle mode. This needs time though. When we lost to Forest there were numerous times of almost chances in the final 3rd that were off by fractions, which exposed the fact they weren’t all in sync yet. It will come though and to be honest this is nit picking. Clear at the top is all we could have hoped for 7 games in, and hopefully, in time, we will improve!
