Reflecting on the last 4.5 months and seeing where we are in all comps is pretty miraculous under a new manager. Arne has slotted in perfectly to Liverpool FC, he’s managing a team of world class players with world class ambitions and expectations brilliantly. Every week he’s navigating every single opponent intelligently, his superior in-game tactics have been extremely impressive, which shows why we’ve won a lot of games in the 2nd half. Hopefully he will start to improve on that and we’ll start to see more of the same superb football but throughout the whole game. We are improving and there’s still more to work on but by elevating a Klopp squad is seriously impressive.
As well as we’re doing on all fronts he isn’t talked about that much in the media, there’s not a huge amount of hype and I think it’s mainly down to the way he carries himself in interviews, grounded, funny and far from controversial. He just gets on with things behind the scenes, the hard work is what we see on the pitch as fans right now. The players look a bit more relaxed as well after the first 3rd of the season, players like Szobbo have played through his panic stage, playing a lot better now and expressing more freedom, 3 months ago he might have had a shot at goal rather than assist Salah. Players look a little more settled now, perfectly timed for the second half of the season.

Seems like we always draw Leicester around xmas, or is that just me ?
At home on boxing day after being top at xmas with a nice lil’ buffer, lads should be in a good mood. But we’re really as good as the next game and we haven’t done anything of value yet. Keeping our feet on the ground is the most important thing right now and staying fit.
