A nice timely distraction for us tomorrow away at spurs in the cup, however it really isn’t all that bad. If you’d had offered us the position where we are now half way through the season both domestically and in Europe we’d have bitten your arm off.
It could be another Forest moment for Slot, another learning moment that he’ll want to fix the issues immediately being such a perfectionist, could work on a few tactical changes that he didn’t get right. Also I think taking 4/6 points from the scum this season is reasonable. They may even help take points of our rivals which ain’t so bad. Of course we should have smashed em but we may have needed that grounding at the right time.
Arne vs Ange time again. Should see another expansive game with both clubs aiming to get some silverware under their belts this season. Not sure how strong we’ll end up lining up but Arne clearly wants to win every game with few tweaks upto now.
Cant see him starting Trent here, the lad clearly needs a few days out of the limelight. A lot is going on in his head right now and needs some clarity to think things through. Hopefully he’ll come back stronger and more determined. 💪
