Back to the Premier League this weekend with a classic 3pm sweat on a Saturday. Home at Anfield to Ed’s Ipswich , hopefully the Perfect result will unfold. A strong chance here to tick another off whilst maintaining a buffer.
Ipswich are there for upset though absolutely no pressure on them to get a result so 100% focus 100% of the game is required, especially at the back. Konate is back now so we look at little more sturdy. Ipswich are facing a relegation battle, joint 18th with Wolves and they have the arse, so nothing to lose and everything to gain for both clubs. We need goals and preferably early ones on Saturday.
Arne now qualified in 1st position for the CL can take the foot off the accelerator to focus on domestic comps for the forthcoming CL schedule. A deserved and hard faught position to be in so he should (although he probably won’t) take full advantage.
Now contracts, unless something actually happens i can’t see any significant news coming out of the club until the end of the season, I think the time for signing has been and gone and we’ve just gotta accept the fact the lads may just now wait until the season is over. All focus should be on the next game so I hope they don’t get distracted the second half of the season.
