PSV vs Liverpool – Time for some CL experience!

Upto now we’ve seemed to gradually (although a few stumbling blocks) get better as a squad and a team. Players like Gravy, Szobo and Gakkers eased into their tweaked style of roles enabling a more cohesive playing style, delivering solid results through multiple campaigns. The more Slot does to mitigate possible injury risks that effects this the better. So hoping he makes some standout decisions for this game tomorrow. It doesn’t really matter if we finish 1st or 2nd but a draw would guarantee us 1st. PSV are almost gaurenteed a place in the play off round sitting 3 points above 25th in 19th with 5 other teams trying not to lose as well. A draw would be the ideal result for both teams barring a win for us.

Okay so Breaking news: According to James Pearce Ali, Trent, VVD, Konate, Gravy, Mac, Szlob, Salah and Dia LEFT OUT of the PSV trip. Will remain in L4 ahead of Sat’s trip to Bournemouth. WELL PLAYED SQUIRE!

That means a decent look in for 90 mins for Tsimi, Elliot, Jones, Endo, Quansah, maybe Gomez, Danns, Nunez, Morton and maybe a few others like Nyoni. Great stuff.

TRAVELLING SQUAD : Endo, Nunez, Chiesa, Gakpo, Elliott, Tsimikas, Robertson, Kone-Doherty, Mabaya, McConnell, Jaros, Kelleher, Nallo, Morrison, Danns, Norris, Quansah, Morton, Bradley, Davies, Nyoni.

I think Arne has really shined for us as a club, he’s such a fantastic speaker and stabaliser. He’s as passionate as they come and with that he exudes a calm and collective manner in all efforts, he’s basically been able to balance the raw emotional scouse passion with a guided steady mentality.

The proof is how much trust he’s received from the fans, over an extremely short period of time. In previous seasons we’ve been going into games with an element of panic for a must win game. We won trophies under Klopp more with our hearts and if we go on to win something big this season it will be down to our hearts but guided by our heads. Thats the difference. Slot is the stable one.

It’s clear Slot has an eye on the huge game vs Bmth on the weekend with one of the most in-form teams in the league playing without fear and getting solid results, but we still have a job to do tomorrow. A win puts us 8/8. A record that doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things but will be tough to match in years to come.

Let’s do the work redmen and enjoy it out there boys!!
