I think the best way to win last week was how we did it, if we walked it we may have well coasted into this one. What a win though, a special moment for Chiesa which could help him kick on and justify more minutes, I mean he used to be a fkin baller and that player is in him, we saw a glimpse on Friday night.
Pffoooaarrr this one could very well be added to the classics vs Newcastle.. Setup to be an aggressive goalfest. We’ll be gelling for a little while yet so I think the best possible chance we have at 3 points is to forget flair, tact and skill. We need grit, nastiness and gamesmanship.
Hard to judge anyone in the first 2-3 games, Newcastle definitely missed their main firing power though, with 16 shots and only 3 on target. Will definitely be a game of who can finish their chances and so far we look a lot more likely. Really hope this Isak shite ends soon, no matter what happens. Doesn’t do anyone any good with this lingering.
2 Tough games coming up for us then, Newcastle A and Arse at Home on the 31st Aug. Followed by an exciting InterTWATional break .. We come out of the first 3 with max points and it’s game on for September. We can do it.
