6/6 so far, can’t be mad at that. Some hero’s created and some hearts broken, great start overall for us.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW!!
A trip back to Anfield for Trent in a few weeks time then! No idea how the reception will be, probably more laughs than anything. Kinda feel sorry for him but I’m not opening that can of worms again, whats done is done and we move on and focus on ourselves.
Few tough games here and we know now just qualifying is the objective, no matter where. Finish higher and get more wonga but don’t let it distract us too much, I think 4 or 5 wins will do the job. First being Madrid at Home obvs! Smash them up proper.

- Real Madrid (H)
- Inter (A)
- Atletico Madrid (H)
- Eintracht Frankfurt (A)
- PSV (H)
- Marseille (A)
- Qarabag (H)
- Galatasaray (A)
We all know who needs another one 😉

Onto Sunday then!
Slot needs to muster for Sunday, biggest test for us for a while, and for them. It’s at home so we will have an advantage but they won’t be fkin around. There is no place to hide and we have to be at our very best. We normally up our game for these ones and we’ve had a few games to iron out our kinks. Hoping slot has been busy on the training pitch.
Window still open, looking forward to it closing though with some additions. I think the club wants Isak but I’m not convincing we absolutely need him. Newcastle are in a position where they have to sell him so we’re definitely in the strongest negotiating position. Seriously I just think the Saudis are just not used to not getting their way, they don’t understand we’re at a different level than Newcastle. Sooner it’s sorted the better for everyone. At this point it really doesn’t matter if Newcastle get a striker in or not, the value of Isak will drop significantly every window from now on.
Ekitike is on fire for us right now, lad can’t do anything wrong so he’ll be looking to continue this rich form on Sunday, these are the games he’s joined us for. If Isak does come it will only benefit him really, also take pressure off them both to perform. To compete on all fronts we should have 2 quality strikers.

We’ve been fairly weak at the back and midfield, the mix in our team seems to be a bit front heavy at times leaving us exposed. It will be a battle in midfield that wins this games, Gravy and Mac need to be in fine form to help dictate play and move through the lines. These weeks we have to give everything whilst we have 5,6,7,8 days buffer.

2 draws last year H and A, so to come away with 3 here will be testament to the squad and will stamp our authority on the league as holders. From the off boys!
Put them to the sword REDMEN!!!
YNWA x
