Our only loss at home last season came to a rampant Forest, but we were also rampant last season, 2 teams that have taken their own respective nose dives! Forest sitting in 19th , losing 6 drawings 3 and 2 wins, not ideal so they’ll be hungry to bounce back playing a questionable Liverpool side that arguably in worse form right now.
Pressure is on full right now, we have to take as many wins as possible going into the new year. Every game should be a final. I know I’ve said the title is gone and it is all but gone but we’re Liverpool Football Club, we stay to the final whistle and where there’s hope there’s a chance. Certainly keeping the biggest eye on the CL because I feel we’re a better cup team this season that anything else. But we have fighters in our squad, we have winners and wisdom. If anybody can get us out of this rutt is the redmen. We also have to see the lads getting behind slot, fully. He won us number 20 and he has to have respect for that. Hoping they’ve been working hard behind the scenes to establish a plan to get us out of this hole.
These battles are won and lost in midfield, and we have a title winning one. If we can just get some fkin momentum here this will spread across the team and things will start flowing again. Mac is key for this to happen, when he plays well, they all do.
Wirtz and Bradders are a big blow, they’ll both be out for a few weeks likely. Frimpong is on the mend though so waiting for him to finally turn up, which will help us immensely. Isak is welcomed back into the fray as well, you could argue that he’s playing backup now to Ekiteke, wouldn’t mind seeing them both play with one playing on the Left instead of Gakkers.

We have arguably favourable fixtures in the lead up to the new year so the time to strike back is now.
