For us right now we’re in a good period of results, winning the last 4 games on the bounce. This is exactly what we needed to help us get out of the rut. Performances have still been average but I think we’re improving on the whole. There are glimpses of players doing what they’re supposed to be doing and linking up well at times. We’re still 50% of what we’re capable of and that’s down to Slot to be honest. But he deserves time and he should get it. No idea how we’re 4th but we’ll take it.
A win at home to Leeds will put us 5 on the bounce and things start to look a bit brighter and then we have to deal with the Jan transfer window. In which I think we will end up doing some business. Guehi looks to be the fav for making a move I think, however Palace will play hard ball. We absolutely need to strengthen at the back though, or we have to go 343 in some games. Such a shame what happened to Leoni, he could have been our Van der Ven.
Well, one game at a time gents. Time to see if we are improving as a squad or we’re just getting some close wins. One thing is for sure, we have to start playing better football for longer periods of the games.
