For the first time in a maybe a decade we’re going into this fixture as a clear underdog, how far and quick we have fallen eh.. However we sometimes sync up and play our best when our backs against the wall and we have nothing to lose.
We don’t have any rythym or momentum or confidence or really any kind of direction or identity.
So, I think it’s safe to say we’re pretty much at rock bottom in the way the club is being run and the players performances. One thing that can help these situations is young players without fear. I’d love to see Rio get more chances now, because really what other options do we have to change things ? I’d love to see him start against the Arse, because like I said we have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Would love to see Arne not try and play for a draw and just go full mental. I think he knows he’s skating on thin ice so by admitting this to the players and having a heart to heart, but I don’t see him being the vulnerable type unfortunately like Klopp was.
