NEW POD up from RDU 👏
Our last loss in the prem was Nov 22, home to Forest. We have no gone unbeaten since then, however only winning 4 and drawing 5. A shody run and masked over by the fact we didn’t lose any since then. It’s something though, something tangible to hold onto and to build on if we’re trying to look at it positively.
The Prem has improved yet again this season and it’s probably the most competitive it’s ever been. So what does this mean ? It means any team can get a result, any team has fantastic premier league players and can hold and shutout most. It’s where such a quality league ends up, is playing to level up and equalise. Managers now have such a crazy task to try and breakdown bullet proof doors whilst trying to defend themselves. But this is the only way teams think they can get points and points mean money. It’s more important than ever to stay in the premier league for financial stability. This is more important that any player showing flair or skill, risking losing the ball is 10x more important that chancing something that may pay off and entertain the crowd. This is where we are and this is what we have to get used to, and I totally get that this disheartens people and bores people, financial importance is inversely proportional to the spectacle of football.
We have the players to do both. That’s the key thing. We can train to produce a stable performance but you can’t train what the players learnt growing up in parks. It stays with you.
It’s time to unleash the fucking beast boys!! Get those goals up and have fun!!
