The term if you’re going out go with a fucking bang comes to mind here. And really from here on out. No matter which way you look at it, tactically playing for points and not losing will make any Liverpool manager be divided by fans. We need unity now. More than ever. What best way to unify the Liverpool world than to go hard fast and purposeful. We have to attack and play to win no matter what, its in our DNA. It’s foundational and woven into our fabric. We can’t and specifically Slot can’t fuck around anymore.
We sit in 9th but 3 points out of the league phase. Its squeaky in those positions and its all up for grabs.
Be better than the last, thats all. We know we wont see drastic changes to formation, players and in-game tactics so we have to expect incremental improvements. Slot knows each game is a final now. A slump we can get out of. But we need wins now more than ‘being unbeaten’.
