Got a little bit more footie to watch until the curtain closes on a truly disastrous season for us.
Not one time this season did we see improvement on the pitch. I know we live in a knee jerk society and premier league managers don’t have time. But Slot’s had 2 seasons to imbed his ethos. A number of reasons has prevented him doing so. He may get more time and maybe he does actually need more time. But all we’ve really ever wanted as fans is authenticity and maybe a little vulnerability. Shows us your heart and we’ll open our doors and we can work through it together. But he’s too fkin stubborn and sweeps it under the carpet.
Anyway. I guess a must win for us really this. No idea how we’ll turn up again, flip of a coin. At this stage I’d love to see Nyoni, Rio, maybe Will wright all start as it absolutely, seriously can’t be as bad as anything we’ve seen lately.
Hope for the best, expect the worst and try n get 3 points from a very distracted Villa..
