A final away day to the south of england to our old feeder club, probably not a huge amount to play for but we need to finish on a high. A streak of 9 games unbeaten winning 7 isn’t a bad end to the season, we know it was too little too late but in the grand scheme of things a good finish and a solid platform to build into pre-season.
Klopp’s got a lot on his plate this pre-season but all focus is now on Saints away, an already relegated team with nothing but pride to play for so I’d expect a fairly tough game, we should be aiming for max points though even by the time the game today is over we have nothing to play for. Whatever happens the players are still fighting for positions. Competition will be peaking soon once the 4 amigos leave because they were never in the plans. Who knows who and what we’ll sign in the summer but without CL football next season the LFC scout team will have to come to potential players with a slightly different angle.. key word be rebuild. Good luck and I hope Klopp doesn’t have to just settle again.
