A stagger now after a, let’s be frank here, a fucking lousy and embarrassing loss on the weekend dumping us out of the famous FA Cup, could actually be detrimental to the mentality of the squad and doubt within games could start creeping in. I really fkin hope not.
Does being out of the 3rd best trophy of a season matter for Liverpool right now ? Probably not considering pretty much all of us would take the PL over everything else in combination. I was just concerned that Slot didn’t do his fkin homework last week and prioritized the wrong tourney. A blip in a remarkable season SO FAR. We haven’t won shit yet and he hasn’t accomplished anything of tangible value. We just have to focus on every game as it comes. One by one. And there will be a good few games that we now don’t have to think about away from the League so that’s the only shining light we can take from the weekend.
