These Intertwational breaks are something else this season, I know theres a World Cup around the corner but it doesnt take away the boring nature of it all. Jolive is right its kinda worrying as the long term interest in the Premier League and other domestic cups might well take a hit. We’ve not been able to click so far much this season and this has to be one of the reasons, taking a break every 3 weeks. Its nuts and there is a much higher risk of injuries out of our control. Anyway we have a little game on Sunday the lads have to prepare for.
Some really sad news has been bestowed on us, the passing of Andy Mcewen, or ‘Mac’ as hes so fondly known on here. A true scouser and one that shot from the hip. A delight in many ways that never held back in his opinions and feelings. A genuine soul that made you feel like you knew him and at times hilariously brutal. Like most on here I never met him in person but you almost didnt need to because he wore his heart on his sleeve to the end. Whilst battling with some difficulties in his health he never let it effect his personality. From all of the foarites Mac we will forever miss you and I hope you’re in peace our friend. YNWA ❤️
A big game, arguably the biggest in our season for many reasons against a United side still in limbo. Like most of us i’m not sure what to expect from the lineup to our in-game strategy to how we will perform. One thing is for sure though we have the players. We have so much potential damage in the squad and fire power im not sure slot know what to do with it 😁.
Really hoping Isak has made the grade in terms of his fitness because we need him firing. Salah needs to start turning up and figure out a way with the players around him how best to make more chances. I think just purely playing together more will do wonders and we need to be patient. We’re 1 off the top and we have the underdog setting greenlighted. Absolutely everything to play for and it’s a long ol season.
Lets get this done and come away with 3 points however they come, for the only and only Mac.
