FA Cup love is in the air on Valentines day for us on Saturday. It’s a slow burn kinda love for us this season, we just really need to start seeing us win football matches again to spark that fire back up.
He surely has to change things up and go with some fringe players to start, Ekiteke is exhausted and needs a rest, I’d give Chiesa a 90 minute frontman stint. Salah has an opportunity to kickstart himself again as he’s shown absolutely nothing of his former self.
A loss here will cause much more instability for slot and every game from here within will be like a final for him and for us. However we do have a favourable fixture list until April. All should be winnable but for us and our bottomed out confidence , we’ll have to settle with what we see on the day for each game.
Be a nice distraction on Saturday where only open attacking play with goals will reward a trip to the next round, which may serve our play better than a low block for the majority of the game.
